Good news for iPhone 4 jailbreakers, you can jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2 using RedSnow [tethered]. iPhone Dev Team is working on developing GreenPosion for an un-tethered jailbreak. You must already know that GeoHot released LimeRa1n which can jailbreak all versions of iPhone 4, breaking into all future releases of iOS, so no matter how hard Apple tries, the developers can jailbreak the phone. GeoHot has also announced that he has kept the Shatter Exploit for future versions of iPhone 5 which is scheduled to be released somewhere in April or June 2011.

What is tethered Jailbreak ?
For starters who don’t know what is tethering, in this jailbreak you have to plugin the device to your computer every time you restart your device. However the jailbreak for iPhone 3GS and 3G come untethered.
